How SolarPairing verifies compatibility

SolarPairing is an independent reference site for documented solar inverter and battery compatibility. Its purpose is to make manufacturer documentation easier to compare before a purchase or installation; it is not a manufacturer certification, an engineering review or installation advice.

A pairing is published only when there is a source that identifies the relevant inverter and battery model or documented series, and supports the stated compatibility condition. A candidate without a usable source, an exact model match or enough context stays out of the public directory.

We label a pairing as closed loop only when the evidence supports BMS communication with the inverter, such as CAN bus or RS485. Open loop means the equipment may operate from voltage settings without that documented battery communication. Unsupported means that available documentation explicitly rules it out or does not support a safe documented pairing.

Primary sources take priority: manufacturer compatibility lists, manuals, installation guides and technical documentation. Installer reports and forum discussions can reveal leads or operating conditions, but they do not replace a primary source when one is available.

Compatibility can change with firmware, regional variants, communication cables, battery count and configuration. A published entry records the source and its verification date, but the buyer must still check the current documentation from both manufacturers before installation.

SolarPairing is maintained by an independent publisher. Sources and corrections can be sent through the contact form; they are reviewed before a public entry is added or changed. Affiliate relationships, if present and disclosed, do not determine which pairings are included or how their status is described.

This database is deliberately narrower than a general product recommendation site. It documents what the cited evidence supports and leaves unknowns unpublished. Electrical work and final compatibility decisions should be reviewed with the equipment manufacturers and, where required, a qualified installer.
